Our institute is one of the leading dynamically developing university’s departments. We train not only lawyers (though jurisprudence is the major course), but also document control specialists, information security specialists, judge assessors.

There is a good material and technical basis: computer classrooms, reading-room, laboratories, special classrooms equipped with interactive and multimedia systems, criminalistic polygon, judgment-hall equipped with system of teleconferencing. We are proud of our team consisting of professionals. Our students are active and purposeful young men.

Mode and duration of study: full-time (2 years)
Program overview: The programme aims to train lawyers for further research or employment in government agencies (legal support, policy making, justification of institutional reforms), municipal, commercial and public organizations. Major focus is on the study of current issues, discussed by both Russian and foreign scholars, that underline the features of state and law, their formation and functioning throughout history and in the modern period.

The program addresses the nature, content and actual issues of the theory and practice of criminal procedure, criminalistics and investigation activities; Russian and international legal frameworks and forms of interaction between investigation bodies.

Mode and duration of study: full-time (2 years) and part-time (2 years and 5 months)
Program overview: The programme aims to train students for legal careers as judges or deputy judges.Our students consider current issues of administrative, arbitration, civil, constitutional and criminal proceedings; analyze case materials in order to ensure uniform application of substantive and procedural law in courts; study foreign proceedings (Anglo-Saxon and Roman-Germanic systems).

Program overview: The program aims to professionals in civil law with the knowledge of research and teaching methods, legislative and law enforcement processes; management skills. The training combines classical legal education with modern theory and methodology. The program focuses on understanding the development of modern Russian law. Our theoretical and practical courses aim at an in-depth analysis of the problems of modern Russian state-legal reality and scientific research.

History and structure of the Institute of Law, Social Management and Security

There are 4 majors in the institute:

In 1995 the institute began to train the students of secondary education on the major jurisprudence and then on the majors law enforcement activity and records keeping.

The institute sets up new majors in cooperation with the Russian State University of humanities (Moscow), Committee on civil defense and emergency situations by the Udmurt Republic Government, Izhevsk technical university etc.
