In terms of the III International Scientific Conference “Russia and the West” UdSU hosted professors Eleonor Bindman and Olga Khruschiova (Manchester Metropolitan University, Great Britain), and Peter Schulze (Göttingen University).
Professor Schulze paid attention to the role of Europe in the world global changes. The main topic of professor Bindman was dedicated to charitable organizations and what they mean to modern Russia and Belarus. Professor Khruschiova gave a speech on academic opportunities in Great Britain’s HEI for first-year students from Institute of History and Sociology.
During the meeting there were discussed perspectives of further partnership of the universities and ways of its improvement – for instance, guest lectures, online lectures, etc. Also, our guests have had Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky Museum excursion in Votkinsk.
