This week the delegation of the Udmurt State University consisting of Pavel Khodyrev, the Vice-Rector for IT development, Maria Beznosova, the Head of the International and Public Relations Office, Valeriy Sidorov, the Head of the Geography, Cartography and Geoinformatics Department, and Felix Rodgers, the first-year students of the Institute of Law, Pedagogics and Social Technologies, is paying the working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On Monday the delegation met Andrey Krasilnikov, the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Russian Center of Science and Culture). Together they took part in the events dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Leningrad Siege Lifting.
On January 28th UdSU there was a meeting with the Rector of the Tashkent Pedagogical State University – Shavkat Sharipov, university administrative and academic staff. The major fields in which our university engages were presented to the audience such as international students counselling.
On Wednesday, Valeriy Sidorov made a report on ‘Chekhov’s Eurasian Rundraise’ dedicated to the writer’s jubilee in the Uzbek State University of World Languages. Moreover, two workshops were held on the topics of project activities and the application of on-line technologies in education.
It is planned that the next days the delegation will visit the city of Urgench to meet the Rector of Urgench State University. Round table discussions with university vice-rectors, deans and students are also on agenda.
