Between November 18 and 19, an Iraqi delegation of businessmen paid a visit to Izhevsk in the framework of a trade mission. They met representatives of export-oriented medium and small businesses of Udmurt Republic and of HEIs of Udmurtia that actively take part in the process of education export.
The VIII National Russian Olympiad on Teaching Foreign Languages and Cultures gathered future teachers of foreign languages at Udmurt State University on November 19, 2019.
From 2012 until present eight UGR students and 12 UdSU students have already completed the whole course of study. Ten UdSU students will receive or have already received URG diplomas and eight UGR students received UdSU diplomas. In the autumn of 2019 another UGR graduate got UdSU diploma.

Between May 21 and 22, 2020 UdSU hosts the XVIII International Symposium “Dialects and History of Permic languages in Relations with Other Languages”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Udmurt nationhood and 140th anniversary of publishing of Boris Gavrilov’s“Pieces of Folk Literature, Cults and Superstitions of Votyaks of Kazan and Vyatka Guberniyas”.
All-Russian Conference «Values of Modern Culture Area», dedicated to the 60th anniversary of artistic education in Udmurt Republic, will be held on December 5, 2019.

Between October 28 and 29, 2019 in the framework of VI International Week at UdSU the Vth International Online-Conference “Strategies of Multicultural Education on the Back of Global Education: Practices and Prospects” was held.
Between November 25 and 29, 2019 Izhevsk will host X IzhMUN (Izhevsk Model of United Nations). This project is the winner of the Russian Contest of Youth Projects by Federal Agency for Youth Affairs among HEIs held in 2019.
