The UdSU International Student Club (ISC) has applied for the All-Russian competition of student government bodies with the International Student Social and Cultural Adaptation that has been implemented at Udmurt State University for many years. The purpose of the competition is to develop and popularize the activities of student self-government bodies of professional educational organizations and educational institutions of higher education.
We are proud to learn that the UdSU application has been chosen for the final of the competition along with other 7 universities in the nomination "The best system for adaptation of foreign students and implementation of international cooperation."
This nomination evaluates student associations that implement international programs and projects in terms of adaptation, training and integration of international students into all the areas of student life of the university.
Over 350 applications were submitted for competition, 6 regional selection stages were held, the finalists were determined by 33 experts from representatives of youth organizations, the academic community, and executive authorities at the regional and federal levels. 95 student associations in 11 nominations are invited to participate in the final.
The Head of the UdSU International Cooperation and Public Relations Office, Maria Beznosova, expresses her gratitude to the activists of the ISC: “The International Student Club has been organizing events for the development of international youth cooperation for more than 6 years, assisting in the integration of foreign students into the academic, social and cultural life of the university, region and country. Reaching the final of the All-Russian competition is a well-deserved assessment of those practices that have been developed by our students. My sincere congratulations! "
“We are proud of the practices that have already taken place, and we will move forward. Now, in this difficult time, we are entering new online formats, which will allow us to attract a larger number of participants”, says Marina Kruchinina, head of the ISC.
The ISC Chairman, Ksenia Shilyaeva, notes that it is always pleasant to work in a friendly and well-coordinated team: “The ISC members are great smart girls! It's very cool to work with proactive guys! "
The final of the competition will be held at the end of November this year, where the participants will have to compete for the status of the best student association in the country.
Congratulations to our finalists on passing to the next stage!
