This January the Elsivier publishing house has reviewed the list of Russian Scopus indexed journals. According to the updated version the Proceedings of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Science journal was indexed on 07 August 2019. This is the second Scopus-indexed journal published by the Udmurt State University, the first one being the Bulletin of the Udmurt State University: Mathematics. Mechanics, Computer Sciences indexed in 2016.
Three other UdSU-published journals enter the Web of Science Core Collection database. As of now the Udmurt State University is the only research institution in the Udmurt republic whose publications are included in the top international scientometric databases. This is a quite remarkable achievement for the university strengthening its position in the world science scene.
