On October 9-11, 2024, Udmurt State University will hold the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategies for Intercultural Interaction in the Context of the Global Educational Space: Experience and Prospects.”
The conference aims to identify development trends and problematic aspects of intercultural education in the short term, to combine the scientific interests of specialists involved in researching the dynamics of modern languages, studying the characteristics of intercultural communication in various forms and fields of activity, including in the network space and the media, as well as issues of introducing modern digital technologies and pedagogical innovations in the educational process.
The focus in 2024 will be on the issues of communication in different types of discourse, both in the physical and digital environment; issues of media security and the formation of information culture.
It is planned to discuss the specifics of communication processes in the humanitarian educational space in a multicultural region. Particular attention is expected to be paid to the issues of adaptation and integration of foreign students to the academic and sociocultural environment of a Russian university.
The target audience: master's students, graduate students, specialists in the field of linguistics and linguodidactics, literary criticism, pedagogy and journalism, representatives of governmental, public and non-governmental organizations in Russia and other countries are invited to participate in the conference.

Based on the results of the conference, a collection of materials “Strategies for intercultural interaction in the context of the global educational space: Experience and prospects” will be prepared.
Collections are hosted on the Elibrary platform and indexed in the RSCI.
