On October 20, 2020 Rector of Udmurt State University, professor Galina Merzlyakova will give an open lecture on the topic “The Third Mission of the University”.
The lecture will be held under project "100 Lectures of Rectors" implemented by Agency for Strategic Initiatives (www.asi.ru/eng). In this project rectors of major Russian universities share their experience and analyze the processes of integrating universities into the public agenda and economic life of the country.
The aim of the project is an open presentation and discussion of issues related to the implementation of the "third mission" of universities, which includes the interaction of the university with society, its social responsibility and involvement in the socio-economic development of the regions.
The lecture will start at 11:40 am (Izhevsk time).
