In June 2024, Udmurt State University signed an agreement to join the Russian-African Network University (RAFU) consortium.
Networking under the auspices of RAFU is aimed at equal partnership between Russian and African universities and scientific organizations in the field of higher education, lifelong learning and research.
Today, the African continent is represented at UdSU by students from Benin, Congo, Mali, Nigeria, Cameroon, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Eritrea, Guinea, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Rwanda and Ghana. Every year the number of students from African countries increases at our university.
Since 2023, UdSU has been developing cooperation within the framework of a bilateral agreement with the University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa). Joint activities in regional studies and on issues of jurisprudence and the fight against cybercrime have been implemented.
We are confident that the participation of our university in the work of RAFU will expand interaction with scientific and educational organizations of the countries of the African continent.
