UdSU international graduates from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Vietnam, Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, and Uzbekistan are participating in the online flash mob to celebrate their graduation. They are leaving their greeting addresses and comments about their UdSU studies. Directors of the Institutes, in their turn, posted congratulatory addresses in which they wished the graduates successful career start, new professional and academic achievements.
The University rector, Prof. G.V. Merzlyakova, pointed out in her video address that this academic year was not an easy one and faced us with many challenges which the graduates have successfully responded to.
On July 17 the most distinguished graduates were awarded with Recognition Letters during the official ceremony in front of the Pushkin monument. Five of them received Diplomas with Honors which makes the host Institutes of Economics and Management, Finno-Ugric Studies and Journalism, and Civil Defense extremely proud.
UdSU strives not to lose touch with its alumni. Many of them have returned to their home countries and are pursuing careers in business, universities, and governments. Online Graduation is the first in the series of events under the new ‘International Alumni Association’ project launched recently by the International and Public Relations Office.
International alumni are welcome to follow the association’s activities on VK and Facebook. Join the groups to get the latest news on education in Russia, career counselling, links to professional communities and life at UdSU!
