This Monday UdSU has opened its doors to the 5th Qualifying Championship by Worldskills standards.
Our university joined the Worldskills movement in 2016 when Nikolai Mikhalev took the first place in the regional round of the championship in ‘Networks and System Administration’ nomination. Since then UdSU has held its own qualifying rounds every year and has made big contribution to the movement. Thus, in 5 years the number of competitors grew from 6 to 55, number of home experts from 8 to 70, number of competences from 1 to 9; UdSU students were the first not just on regional, but on national and international level as well.
This year the students of 7 UdSU institutes in course of 3 weeks (May 24 – June 11) will be demonstrating their skills in such areas as CAD engineering design, organization of guided tours, hospitality business, entrepreneurship, labour safety, web design and development, teaching in middle and high school, laboratory and chemical analysis, advertising.
The Championship programme also features round tables, tours for schoolchildren, broadcasts of the leading speakers from Worldskills-Russia Academy.
