The joint project proposal of the Udmurt State University and South Dakota State University has recently been announced the winner of the University Virtual Partner Program. Seven other US-Russian projects received grant support within the program.

On March 29 the representatives of the Consulate General of the Uzbek Republic in Kazan visited our university with the purpose of discussing the prospects of cooperation between UdSU and Uzbek universities.

Today is the opening day of the UdSU annual signature event - the International Multilingual Week. This year it is held from March 1 to 5 and within the framework of the university’s 90th anniversary celebrations.

German academic exchange service DAAD holds an annual contest among Russian higher education institutions for the best international summer school projects. DAAD supports the winners’ projects by providing scholarships to students and organizing recruitment campaigns. Thus, German students get a chance to acquaint themselves with the Russian educational system, Russian language, and upgrade their professional skills. This year the project proposal of the Udmurt State University became one of the winners.

Within International Educational Salon on December 8-9, 2020 a few events targeted at presenting the experience of teaching Russian as a foreign language were held.

On December 8, 2020, at Udmurt State University on the basis of the Institute of Languages and Literature, a panel discussion "Development of multicultural education in Russia and abroad" was held within the framework of the "International Educational Salon" of the UdSU project "Russia in Scientific and Cultural Dialogue".
